Letter from the Committee for Veterinary Control and Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, pursuant to paragraph 3 of the Decision of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated 16 May 2016 No. 149 "On the procedure for interaction of authorized bodies of the member States of the Eurasian Economic Union during the introduction of temporary sanitary, veterinary, sanitary and quarantine phytosanitary measures" on the lifting of temporary restrictions in connection with the improvement of the epizootic situation for highly pathogenic avian influenza in the territories of the municipalities of Southern Denmark, Vordinborg, and Zealand in Denmark from 21 April 2026 on the import and transit through the territory of Kazakhstan from the above-mentioned territory of live poultry and hatching eggs, poultry meat and all types of poultry products that have not undergone heat treatment (at least 70 ° C), feed and feed additives for birds, down and feathers, hunting trophies, non-taxidermied (feathered game), used equipment for keeping, slaughtering and butchering birds

Kazakhstan has notified in G/SPS/N/KAZ/122 (5 January 2023) a letter from the Veterinary Control and Supervision Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture on the introduction of temporary restrictions on the import to the territory of Kazakhstan from the Region of Zealand, Denmark of live poultry and hatching eggs, down and feathers, poultry meat and all types of poultry products that have not undergone heat treatment (at least 70 °C), feed and feed additives for birds (excluding feed additives of plant origin, chemical and microbiological synthesis), trophies of the chase that have not undergone taxidermy treatment (feather game), used equipment for keeping, slaughtering and cutting birds, as well as transit through the territory of Kazakhstan of live poultry from the above territories. The notified measure was modified by the Letter of the Committee for Veterinary Control and Surveillance of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.
