Confederation of Indian Industries

Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is a non-governmental, not-for-profit, industry-led, and industry-managed organization, with over 9 000 members from private and public sectors, including SMEs and MNCs. The organization has an indirect membership of over 300 000 enterprises from 294 national and regional sectoral industry bodies. CII has collaborated with RRMA on regulatory master classes, they’re an affiliate for the Indian Chemical Regulation Helpdesk.

Indian Chemical Council

INDIAN CHEMICAL COUNCIL (ICC) is the apex national body that represents all branches of the chemical industry in India, such as organic and inorganic chemicals, plastics and petrochemicals, petroleum refineries, dyestuffs and dye-intermediates, fertilizers and pesticides, specialty chemicals, paints etc. ICC is dedicated to the growth of the Indian chemical industry. It was established in 1938 and has over the years broadened its functions and offerings to cater to the varying needs of the Indian chemical industry.

The Basic Chemicals, Cosmetics & Dyes Export Promotion Council

The Basic Chemicals, Cosmetics & Dyes Export Promotion Council, popularly known as CHEMEXCIL, was set up by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry (Government of India) in the year 1963, with the objective of promoting exports of specific items from India to various countries abroad. CHEMEXCIL has collaborated with RRMA in development and impact assessment of the upcoming Indian Chemicals Management and Safety Rules (ICMSR), as well as organized a series of 10 master classes on cosmetic regulation across the world.

The Dyestuffs Manufacturers Association of India (DMAI)

The Dyestuffs Manufacturers Association of India (DMAI), was established in 1950 and is the apex body representing dyestuffs, pigments, optical brighteners and dyes intermediates manufacturers from all over the country, covering all sectors of the colorants Industry – from small scale units to multinationals – a fact well recognized by the government authorities. They have collaborated with RRMA on EU, UK and Turkey related regulatory implications on the member companies, they have delivered webinars, and are affiliated with the Indian chemicals' regulation helpdesk, and a valued partner of RRMA.

The Helsinki Chemicals Forum (HCF)

The Helsinki Chemicals Forum (HCF) is an independent non-profit forum founded by the Finnish Fair Foundation and the City of Helsinki, aimed at promoting chemicals safety and chemicals management globally. Each year, the HCF conference gathers speakers and participants from around the globe to discuss hot topics on chemicals regulation from an international perspective. The conference is engaging international authorities, politicians, industry leaders, NGOs, academics, journalists and specialists in chemical safety management. In even years the conference will take place at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre, Finland. In odd years it will take place in Asia. The last Asian HCF conference – called Asian Chemicals Forum (ACF) – took take place in New Delhi, India in September 2023 and was organized together with the Regulatory Representatives and Managers Association (RRMA) and the main sponsor Global Product Compliance Group, which provides chemical regulation compliance services in India and other parts of the world.

Global Product Compliance (GPC)

Global Product Compliance (GPC) specializes in regulatory compliance solutions across global sectors. SSS Europe, a familiar name in chemical regulatory and compliance services, now officially belongs under the umbrella of GPC Holding Sweden. As a partner of RRMA, GPC has organized an internship program where 15 interns participated in the first phase, and over 20 interns in the second phase. Lastly, GPC is a sponsor of RRMA’s various activities and assists it with secretariate services when necessary.

ESSEM

ESSEM compliance solutions has a lab area of 8 000 square feet located on a 1.5-acre campus that includes state-of-the-art technology solutions and key strategies for testing toxicity control and environmental management. ESSEM’s facility has commissioned more than 1 000 toxicity profiles for classified groups of chemicals and specializes in study management and monitoring activities required for various REACH and REACH-like regulations. ESSEM provides scientific and study-related support to RRMA members.
