National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology – Inmetro, issued the Inmetro Ordinance 140, 19 March 2021, approving the General Requirements for Supplier's Declaration of Conformity (RGDF Product) - Consolidated. The following Inmetro Ordinances are revoked: I - Inmetro Ordinance 649, 12 December 2012, published in the Official Gazette on 14 December 2012, section 1, pages 138 to 139, previously notified through G/TBT/N/BRA/521; II - Inmetro Ordinance 1, 4 January 2007, published in the Federal Official Gazette 8 January 2007, section 1, page 57.

This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 609 /2020 ( 3  pages, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 3603 "Gas cylinders — High pressure cylinders for the on-board storage of natural gas as a fuel for automotive vehicles" (91 pages, in Arabic). It should be noted that the draft of this Egyptian standard was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/3/Add.37 dated 5 October 2020. Worth mentioning is that this standard is technically identical with modification with ISO 11439:2013 (confirmed in 2019). Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standards through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette. It should be noted that the draft of this Egyptian standard was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/3/Add.36 dated 5 October 2020. Worth mentioning is that this standard is technically identical with modification with ISO 22991:2004 (confirmed in 2018). Products covered: 67.060 (Cereals, pulses and derived products) This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No 608/2020 (2 pages, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 1649 "Durum Wheat Semolina And Durum Wheat Flour" (10 Pages, In Arabic). It should be noted that the Ministerial Decree No. 93/2013 (4 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/34 dated 30 April 2013 mandated among others the earlier version of this Egyptian Standard. Worth mentioning is that this standard is technical identical with CXS 178-1991 Adopted in 1991. Revised in 1995. Amended in 2019. Regulation of Food and Drug Authority No. 13 Year of 2020 on Flavourings is the revised version of the Regulation of the Chairperson of Indonesian FDA Number 22 of 2016 on the Requirements on the Use of Flavouring. This regulation covers the classification of flavouring, maximum level of flavouring, list of flavouring adjunct, list of flavouring substances, list of the Sources of Natural Aromatic Raw Materials and/or Sources of Flavouring Preparations, the name of flavouring substances allowed to be used as flavouring, List of flavourings which are allowed to be used in follow‑up formula, List of flavourings which are allowed to be used in complementary foods for infants and young children, Maximum residue of extraction solvent in food product which is used for the flavouring process, the labelling and also the requirements for the submission of the use of flavouring which is not covered in this regulation. The new provisions of this regulation include: list of solvent as flavouring adjunct, and list of the Sources of Natural Aromatic Raw Materials and/or Sources of Flavouring Preparations. Flavouring and processed food containing flavourings which have obtained a marketing approval must adhere to this regulation no later than 24 months from the date of enactment.
