This draft Regulation establishes for food for infants and young children and ingredients used for the manufacture of these foods maximum levels for aflatoxin B1, aflatoxin M1 and ochratoxin A: for aflatoxin B1 in baby foods and cereal based foods for infants and young children: 0.05 μg/kg; for aflatoxin M1 in infant formulae and follow-on formulae: 0.025 µg/kg; for ochratoxin A in baby foods and cereal-based foods for infants and young children: 0.3 μg/kg; for ochratoxin, A ingredients for the manufacture of baby foods and cereal based foods for infants and young children : 0.5 µg/kg.
