El presente proyecto de Reglamento Técnico tiene por objeto establecer: ; 1.- Los límites de uso de Ácidos Grasos Trans en los alimentos elaborados industrialmente, que se fabriquen, procesen, preparen, envasen, transporten, importen, almacenen, y comercialicen en territorio nacional, a fin de proteger la salud humana y prevenir posibles daños a la misma. ; 2.- Establecer las características de información que debe consignarse en el etiquetado de alimentos industrializados que contengan Ácidos Grasos Trans. ;

The Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu proposed amendments to the Standards for veterinary drug residue limits in foods on 15 August 2012 (G/SPS/N/TPKM/114/Rev.1). El Gobierno de Costa Rica, informa que el RTCA 01.01.11:05 Cantidad de Producto en Preempacados, notificado bajo la signatura G/TBT/N/CRI/36, del 11/01/2006, ha sufrido modificaciones con el fin de facilitar el comercio y se notifica por motivo de transparencia. ; ; Las modificaciones al Reglamento Técnico Centroamericano son: ; ; 1. En el numeral 3.1 la NOTA 7 con el siguiente texto: En el caso de jabones de tocador y jabones de lavar se permite que la cantidad real obtenida puede ser inferior hasta un 6% (m/m) para jabones de tocador y de un 8% (m/m) para jabones de lavar, de la cantidad nominal. ; ; 2. Se incorpora en el Anexo D de ese Reglamento la NOTA 1 con el siguiente texto: Este procedimiento no aplica al pollo congelado, el cual se regirá conforme a la legislación nacional de cada Estado Parte. ; ; 3. Se elimina el numeral 5.2.Llenado mínimo. El producto deberá ocupar, como mínimo el 90 % en fracción de masa o volumen del envase. ; ; 4. Se elimina en el Anexo E el literal E.2.2 Llenado parcial no funcional. Es el espacio vacío de un preempacado cuando es llenado a menos de su capacidad. Si un consumidor no puede ver el producto en el preempacado, se considerará que está lleno.
