Turkish Food Codex Regulation on Specifications for Food Additives was notified firstly in 12 October 2016 with the notification symbol G/TBT/N/TUR/79. The addendum notification was notified in 24 June 2022 with the notification symbol G/TBT/N/TUR/79/Add.1 to the related Regulation because of modifications of content. The draft regulation has been prepared within the framework of harmonization with the EU legislation, taking into account the Commission Regulation (EU) No. 231/2012 dated 9/3/2012. Additional amendments have been made to the relevant EU legislation. In order to reflect these modifications into national legislation, amendments have been made to the specifications of relevant additives.This regulation will enter into force on 15 January 2023.
