The Republic of Colombia hereby advises that the Ministry of Mining and Energy has issued Resolution No. 40444 of 2023 "Establishing the quality parameters and requirements for basic gasolines and gasolines oxygenated with anhydrous fuel ethanol for use in spark-ignition engines, and diesel fuel and biofuels for use in compression-ignition engines and their blends, and adopting other provisions", which was published in Official Journal No. 52.448 of 6 July 2023, date on which it entered into force, and repeals Resolutions No. 40103 of 2021, No. 40433 of 2021 and No. 40551 of 2022, and their amending or supplementing provisions.__________

Draft Commission Implementing Decision repealing Implementing Decision (EU) 2024/2930 postponing the expiry date of the approval of dazomet for use in biocidal products of product-type 8 in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 528/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council

This draft Commission Implementing Decision repeals the postponement of the expiry date of the approval of dazomet as an active substance for use in biocidal products of product type 8.On 26 January 2021, an application was submitted in accordance with Article 13(1) of the Regulation (EU) No 528/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council (BPR) for the renewal of the approval of dazomet for PT8. On 25 February 2025 the Agency adopted its opinion on dazomet for PT8, having regard to the conclusions of the evaluating competent authority.Given the opinion of the Agency, it is appropriate to renew the approval of dazomet for PT8. Consequently, a draft Implementing Regulation is being prepared to renew the approval of dazomet for PT8 (examination procedure under Regulation (EU) No 182/2011).Further to that Implementing Regulation, it is necessary to repeal the postponement of the expiry date of the approval of dazomet. The present draft Decision therefore intends to repeal Decision (EU) 2024/2930 postponing the expiry date of the approval of dazomet for PT8.

The Committee for Veterinary Control and Surveillance of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan reports that on the basis of the official notification of the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH), an outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease was registered in the Slovak Republic. In this regard, from 1 April 2025, temporary restrictions are introduced on the importation into the territory of Kazakhstan (with the exception of goods specified in Article 8.8.2 of the 2024 WHO Code) of live animals susceptible to foot-and-mouth disease; genetic material (except for those selected in vivo, in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 8.8.17 of the 2024 OIE Code), meat and meat products that have not been heat treated to ensure the destruction of the foot-and-mouth disease virus (in accordance with Article 8.8.34 of the 2024 OIE Code), milk and dairy products that have not been heat treated to ensure the destruction of the foot-and-mouth disease virus (in accordance with Article 8.8.39 of the 2024 OIE Code), wool, hair, bristles, trophies, casings, hides and skins that have not been processed using technology that ensures the destruction of the foot-and-mouth disease virus (in accordance with Articles 8.8.36, 8.8.37, 8.8.38, 8.8.40, 8.8.41 of the 2024 OIE Code), used equipment for their maintenance, slaughter and processing, feed and feed additives for animals, with the exception of those subjected to heat treatment, which guarantees the destruction of the foot-and-mouth disease virus, of chemical and microbiological origin, as well as transit from the above-mentioned territory through the territory of Kazakhstan of live animals susceptible to foot-and-mouth disease.

In this regard, since 20 March 2025, temporary restrictions have been introduced on the importation and transit to the territory of Kazakhstan from the territory of Togo of live poultry and hatching eggs, down and feathers, poultry meat and all types of poultry products that have not undergone heat treatment (at least 70 °C), feed and feed additives for birds (with the exception of feed additives of plant origin, chemical and microbiological synthesis), hunting trophies that have not undergone taxidermy (game birds), used equipment for keeping, slaughtering and cutting birds.
