Regulation Helpdesk

The Helpdesk on Indian Chemical Regulations is an online platform for enterprises and their regulatory team to access recent updates on chemical regulations in India. The Helpdesk on Indian Chemical Regulations is created by RRMA (Regulatory Representatives and Managers Association), and the site presents regulations and rules, including Indian Chemical Management and Safety Rules (India REACH), BIS, Agrochemical, and Cosmetics Regulation in India. The content is available in diverse languages. The Helpdesk was launched in April 2021 to provide enterprises and their regulatory teams with accurate, streamlined, and up-to-date information on regulations in India.

Internship Program

RRMA partners with academic institutes to offer hands-on internships. Since 2020, RRMA has initiated internship programs in India and Sweden, focusing on chemical compliance, product-based environmental regulation, impact analysis, and comparative analysis of different country regulations and stakeholder mapping. To organize internships in India, RRMA partners with Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU), National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), and Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu, Sirmaur, and Lucknow.

Capacity Building & Awareness

To promote an understanding of chemical compliance across sectors, RRMA has been organizing online webinars with various professionals and organizations. On July 14 and July 21, 2021, RRMA co-organized the Masterclass 2.0 Chemical Regulatory Updates with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). In this two-day event, about 200 people attended the online webinars. From July to October 2021, RRMA cooperated with CHEMEXCIL, COSMED, and Global Product Compliance (GPC) to organize the Cosmetic Regulation Global series.  The training and seminars are aimed at building capacity for professionals and organizations in the regulatory sector. These activities further include regulatory events, conferences, webinars, exhibitions, and certificate programmes.
