The Russian Federation notified in G/SPS/N/RUS/34 (7 October 2013) a letter of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision No. FS-AS-3/12671 as of 23 September 2013, which introduced a temporary restriction due to repeated cases of the detection of Capra beetle (Trogoderma granarium Ev.). This measure applied on import of regulated products with a high pest risk from Pakistan to Russian Federation. Experts of the Rosselhoznadzor conducted audit of phytosanitary control system on ensuring phytosanitary safety of regulated products, imported on the territory of the Russian Federation from Pakistan. Thus the notified measure was eliminated from 24 February 2014 by the letter of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision No. FS-AS-3/2744 as of 21 February 2014.
