Measures for the Inspection and Supervision of Import and Export Prepackaged Food Labeling

These Measures are formulated in accordance with the Food Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China, and including 5 Chapters and 17 Articles in total. Draft Bill establishing maximum limit of lead in paints and materials similar to Surface coating, elaborated in the category of the National Commission Chemical Safety Agency (CONASQ), with a coordination of the Ministry of the Environment (Ministério do Meio Ambiente-MMA). Informed and identified suggestions should be forwarded exclusively through the electronic form available at www.mma.gov.br, within the deadline 45 (forty-five) days from the date of publication of this Notice. It revokes Law 11,762, 1 August, 2008, keeping the concentration limit of lead in paints and similar coating materials the approval of the new law by the congress.
