The Food and Drug Administration is amending the color additive regulations to provide for the safe use of spirulina extract as a color additive in coating formulations applied to dietary supplement and drug tablets and capsules. Proposed maximum residue limits (MRLs) for the following agricultural chemicals: Veterinary drug/feed additive - Lasalocid Japan has received some comments and relevant data through the WTO/SPS notification as G/SPS/N/JPN/396 circulated on 3 February 2015. The MHLW has decided to modify the draft maximum residue limits (MRLs) for Lasalocid in some commodities based on the provided data.
