FDUS 2070:2018, Standard Test Method for Evaluation of Diesel Engine Oils in the T-11 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Diesel Engine, First Edition.
Distribution date: 29 October 2018 | Final date for Comment: 28 December 2018
This Final Draft Uganda Standard covers the test method of an engine test procedure for evaluating diesel engine oils for performance characteristics in a diesel engine equipped with exhaust gas recirculation, including viscosity increase and soot concentrations (loading). This test method is commonly referred to as the Mack T-11. This test method also provides the procedure for running an abbreviated length test, which is commonly referred to as the T-11A.
Products Covered: Engine oils

DUS 2069:2018 Standard Test Method for Shear Stability of Polymer Containing Fluids Using a European Diesel Injector Apparatus at 30 and 90 Cycle.
Distribution date: 29 October 2018 | Final date for Comment: 28 December 2018
This Draft Uganda Standard covers the test method for the evaluation of the shear stability of polymer-containing fluids. The test method measures the viscosity loss, in mm2/s and percent, at 100 °C of polymer-containing fluids when evaluated by a diesel injector apparatus procedure that uses European diesel injector test equipment. The viscosity loss reflects polymer degradation due to shear at the nozzle. Viscosity loss is evaluated after both 30 cycles and 90 cycles of shearing
Products Covered: Polymer
