The Republic of Kazakhstan previously notified in G/SPS/N/KAZ/16 (3 August 2018) the Letter of the Committee for Veterinary Control and Surveillance of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the introduction of a temporary restriction on the transit and importation to the territory of the Republic Kazakhstan of live poultry and hatching eggs, down and feathers, poultry meat and all poultry products, which not heat-treated (at least 70 °C), feed and feed additives (excluding feed additives of chemical and microbiological synthesis), trophies of the chase that have not undergone taxidermy treatment (game birds), as well as used equipment for the maintenance, slaughter and cutting of birds from the Nizhegorodskaya, Orlovskaya and Rostovskaya regions of the Russian Federation. The notified measure was modified by the Letter of the Committee for Veterinary Control and Surveillance of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 15-1-15/1185-И of 13 June 2019.
