Industrial Chemicals After extensive stakeholder consultation, the new regulatory scheme for industrial chemicals has been passed by the Australian Parliament, in a legislative package of primary and secondary legislation, and legislative instruments. Links to the central elements of the legislative framework are provided. As the new scheme will continue to be fully cost-recovered from the regulated industry, delegated legislation setting fees and charges will be finalised following current consultation processes. The new scheme will commence on 1 July 2020.
