The major differences between the old version and this new revised draft standard are as follows: ; { Adds a new introduction with a reference to the future pressure vessel standards reform planned in Israel according to the European Directive 97/23/EC. ; { Updates the references to International Standards. ; { Removes from the standard's scope Iso tank vessels for marine transportation. ; { Removes the definitions for buyer and manufacturer. ; { Adds a few clarifications to several paragraphs. ; { Changes paragraph 5 dealing with identification and marking. ; { Changes paragraph 6 dealing with the approval of a plant to manufacture pressure vessels. ; { Changes paragraph 7 dealing with the initial test for a new pressure vessel. ; { Allows a choice among one of the International Standards mentioned in paragraph 4 to plan, produce and test pressure vessels. ; Both the old standard and the new revised standard will be in effect for 1 year from the date of entry into force of the new standard.
