The Committee for Veterinary Control and Surveillance of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan reports that on the basis of the official notification of the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH), an outbreak of avian influenza virus was registered in the Northern Ireland of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. In this regard, since 19 March 2025, temporary restrictions have been introduced on the importation and transit to the territory of Kazakhstan from the territory of the Northern Ireland of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland of live poultry and hatching eggs, down and feathers, poultry meat and all types of poultry products that have not undergone heat treatment (at least 70 °C), feed and feed additives for birds (with the exception of feed additives of plant origin, chemical and microbiological synthesis), hunting trophies that have not undergone taxidermy (game birds), used equipment for keeping, slaughtering and cutting birds.

In this regard, since 21 March 2025, temporary restrictions have been introduced on the importation and transit to the territory of Kazakhstan from the territory of Telangana state of India of live poultry and hatching eggs, down and feathers, poultry meat and all types of poultry products that have not undergone heat treatment (at least 70 °C), feed and feed additives for birds (with the exception of feed additives of chemical and microbiological synthesis), hunting trophies that have not undergone taxidermy (game birds), used equipment for keeping, slaughtering and cutting birds.

Resolución No. 00006022 del 23 de mayo de 2025 “Por la cual se levanta la suspensión temporal de la emisión de documentos zoosanitarios de importación (DZI) para algunos productos de origen animal procedentes de la República Federal de Alemania, establecida mediante la Resolución ICA 00001310 del 18 de febrero de 2025, por la presencia del virus de la fiebre aftosa”

La República de Colombia informa la expedición de la Resolución No. 00006022 del 23 de mayo de 2025 “Por la cual se levanta la suspensión temporal de la emisión de documentos zoosanitarios de importación (DZI) para algunos productos de origen animal procedentes de la República Federal de Alemania, establecida mediante la Resolución ICA 00001310 del 18 de febrero de 2025, por la presencia del virus de la fiebre aftosa”, considerando que el artículo 2 de la Resolución ICA 00001310 del 18 de febrero de 2025 establecía que la medida se mantendrá vigente hasta que el evento sea reportado como “cerrado” en el Sistema Mundial de Información Sanitaria (WAHIS) de la OMSA, y que el pasado 14 de abril de 2025, la República Federal de Alemania reportó a la OMSA, a través de la plataforma WAHIS, la finalización y cierre del evento relacionado con la presencia de brotes del virus de la fiebre aftosa en su territorio, con estatus de "Resuelto”. Dicha Resolución fue publicada en el Diario Oficial No. 53.127 del 24 de mayo de 2025, fecha a partir de la cual entró en vigencia.
