The Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) is in the process of withdrawing the standard for Synthetic Dyestuffs: Reactive Dye (TIS 740-2555(2012)) and the standard for Synthetic Dyestuffs: Reactive Dye (TIS 740-25XX(20XX)) will be replaced. This draft standard covers only safety requirements of synthetic dyestuffs: reactive dye for textile and leather products. It specifies safety requirements, packaging, marking and labelling, sampling and criteria for conformity and testing.

The Committee for Veterinary Control and Surveillance of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan reports an outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza in the territory of the districts of Oldenburg, Aurich, Cloppenburg (federal state of Lower Saxony) and Leipzig (federal state of Saxony), Germany. Draft Decree of Minister of Industry on Mandatory Implementation of Indonesian National Standard for Thermal Insulation Materials, Sound Absorption and Fire Resistant Made of Mineral Wool

This draft of decree states that all thermal insulation materials, sound absorption and fire resistant made of mineral wool product produced nationally or imported, distributed, and marketed in Indonesia shall conform to SNI requirements. All Producers who produce these products shall perform compliance to those requirements, proven by having product certificate for using SNI Marking (SPPT - SNI).The product certificate for SNI marking shall be issued by product certification bodies that have been accredited by KAN and appointed by the Minister of Industry.Directorate of Cement, Ceramic and Processing of Non-metal Material Industry, Ministry of Industry is the responsible institution for the implementation of this decree and shall provide a technical guidance of the decree, which covers procedure of product certification and SNI Marking.Products which are distributed in domestic market that originated domestically and imported shall meet the requirements consisted in:SNI 8421:2017 Thermal Insulation Materials, Sound Absorption and Fire Resistant Made of Mineral Wool – Safety requirements which specifies term and definition, quality requirements, sampling, testing method, testing acceptance, marking requirement and packaging (available in Indonesian only).

Draft Decree of Minister of Industry on Mandatory Implementation of Indonesian National Standard for Ampoules and Vials Made of Glass for Injection

This draft of decree states that all of glass ampoules and vials for injection product produced nationally or imported, distributed, and marketed in the country shall conform to SNI requirements. Conformance SNI requirements are proved by having product certificate for using SNI Marking (SPPT-SNI). The product certificate on SNI marking shall be issued by a Product Certification Body which has been accredited by KAN and appointed by the Minister of Industry. Directorate of Cement, Ceramic and Processing of Non-metal Material Industry, Ministry of Industry is the responsible institution for the implementation of this decree and shall provide a technical guidance of the decree, which covers procedure of Product Certification and SNI Marking.
