On 7 February 2022, the National Environment Agency (NEA) of Singapore notified the WTO TBT Committee (G/TBT/N/SGP/63) of its intention to control 5 new chemicals as Hazardous Substances (HS) under the Environmental Protection and Management Act (EPMA) and EPM (Hazardous Substances) Regulations (EPM(HS) Regs).
