The standard also gives the composition of each cement in terms of proportions and requirements of the constituents which are to be combined to produce these distinct products in a range of nine strength classes.&nbsp; Furthermore, this standard states the conformity criteria and the related rules. Necessary durability requirements are also given.</span></span></p><p style="margin-top:6.0pt;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:6.0pt;margin-left:0in;text-align:justify;"><span style="color:black;font-face:Verdana;font-size:x-small;"><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size:9.0pt;font-family:'Verdana','sans-serif';">In addition to the specified requirements, an exchange of additional information between the cement manufacturer and user may be helpful. Health Canada's Food Directorate completed a detailed safety assessment of a food additive submission seeking approval for the use of steviol glycosides as a sweetener in nutritional supplement bars. Currently, steviol glycosides are permitted for use as sweeteners in various foods in Canada, including meal replacement bars. As no safety concerns were raised through Health Canada's assessment the Department has enabled the food additive use of steviol glycosides as a sweetener described in the information document below by updating the List of Permitted Sweeteners (http://hc-sc.gc.ca/fn-an/securit/addit/list/9-sweetener-edulcorant-eng.php), effective 23 August 2016. The purpose of this communication is to publically announce the Department's decision in this regard and to provide the appropriate contact information for any inquiries or for those wishing to submit any new scientific information relevant to the safety of this food additive.

<pre><p>TITLE: Reclassification of Specially Denatured Spirits and Completely Denatured Alcohol Formulas and Related Amendments</p><p>AGENCY: Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau, Treasury</p><p>ACTION: Final rule; Treasury decision</p><p>SUMMARY: The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau is amending its regulations concerning denatured alcohol and products made with industrial alcohol. The amendments eliminate outdated specially denatured spirits formulas from the regulations, reclassify some specially denatured spirits formulas as completely denatured alcohol formulas, and issue some new general-use formulas for manufacturing products with specially denatured spirits. The amendments remove unnecessary regulatory burdens on the industrial alcohol industry, as well as on TTB, and align the regulations with current industry practice. The amendments also make other improvements and clarifications, as well as a number of minor technical changes and corrections to the regulations.</p><p>This final rule is effective 31 October 2016. </p></pre>
