<p>Es de observancia obligatoria para las personas físicas o morales, responsables de las turbinas de gas existentes o nuevas y sistemas de dos o más turbinas de gas en una misma fuente con una potencia nominal en su conjunto mayor a 0.5 MW, que utilizan combustibles gaseosos o líquidos en la industria, comercios y servicios.</p><p>No aplica en los siguientes casos: Turbinas de gas con potencia nominal menor a 0.5 MW para generación eléctrica, turbinas de gas existentes con potencia nominal igual o menor a 10 MW para generación de potencia mecánica, turbinas de gas destinadas a un uso derivado de una declaratoria de emergencia o desastre, turbinas de respaldo, turbinas existentes utilizadas en plataformas marítimas y turbinas existentes en los sistemas aislados de la red eléctrica nacional.</p>
