Regulations Amending the Concentration of Phosphorus in Certain Cleaning Products Regulations The proposed regulatory amendments notified in G/TBT/N/CAN/547 (dated 4 April 2018) were adopted and published on 17 April 2019 as the Regulations Amending the Concentration of Phosphorus in Certain Cleaning Products Regulations. The Concentration of Phosphorus in Certain Cleaning Products Regulations and the Regulations amending these regulations limit the amount of phosphorus in laundry detergents, household dish-washing compounds and certain household cleaners that are manufactured or imported for use in Canada.  These regulations do not apply to cleaning products that are in transit through Canada, from a place outside Canada to another place outside Canada. These Regulations came into force on the day on which they were registered (8 April 2019).
