Revision of the Mandatory Standard SI 4004 part 1. This draft standard revision adopts the European Standard EN 12004: August 2007 with the following changes that appear in the Hebrew section: ; • Changes the standard's scope (paragraph 1) to apply also to ceramic and glass mosaic. ; • Changes the normative references described in paragraph 2. ; • Changes the gluing method to 'combing gluing method' described in paragraph 3.1.1. ; • Changes the spreading method described in paragraphs 3.3.2 and 3.3.3. ; • Deletes paragraph 3.4.7. ; • Changes paragraph 4.3 dealing with reaction of resin adhesives and adds reference to a test method for chemical resistant adhesives as described in the European Standard EN 12808-1:2008. ; • Changes adhesives classification according to their reaction in fire according to SI 755 dealing with behaviour of building materials during fire. ; • Deletes paragraph 5 and table 4 dealing with compatibility. ; • Changes the marking and labelling requirements described in paragraph 7. ; • Deletes Appendix ZA. ;

Revision of the Mandatory Standards SI 742 parts 1, 2 and 3 to be replaced by SI 742. This draft standard revision combines all three parts into one standard that adopts the European Council Directive 75/324/EEC: 20 May 1975 and its updates, with the following changes that appear in the Hebrew section: ; • Replaces paragraphs 2.2 and 2.3 with paragraph 2.2 dealing with labelling requirements. This new paragraph applies the labelling requirements of the Mandatory Standard SI 2302 part 1. ; • Replaces paragraph 6.1.4.1(C) and defines cold inspection methods as an alternative test method allowed as a final inspection of filled aerosol dispensers. ; • Adds new requirement in paragraph 6.4 to test varnish integrity on the side stitch. ;

The same interest was indicated in the use of horn and horn products and hoof and hoof products intended for the production of organic fertilizers or soil improvers. In order to facilitate the use of such blood and of such blood products or horn and horn products and hoof and hoof products intended for the production of organic fertilizers or soil improvers, it is necessary to lay down animal health requirements for their use for technical purposes.

The main elements of the legislative proposal are: ; • to allow the placing on the market of three new fertiliser types namely calcium formate, fluid zinc fertiliser and IDHA (a chelating agent) in order to make them more easily available for farmers across the EU; ; • to harmonise the rules for micro-nutrient solutions and micro-nutrient chelates i.e. to allow the use of more than one chelating agent, to adopt common values for the minimum content of water-soluble micro-nutrient and to introduce labelling obligations for chelating agents chelating at least 1% of the water-soluble micro-nutrient; ; • to introduce fertiliser type designations allowing micro-nutrients blends to be in compliance with the requirements of Article 3 of Regulation (EC) No 2003/2003; ; • to introduce references to EN standards to simplify legislation. ;
