Exporting Cosmetics to China Guidance on Cosmetic Ingredient Safety Information Submission Platform

On May 1, 2021, China announced the Provisions for Management of Cosmetic Registration and Notification Dossiers, in which requires registration and notification of safety-related information of ingredients used in the cosmetic product. In relation to this, on Dec 30, 2021, China National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) issued a notice on the Cosmetic Ingredient Safety Information Submission Platform. Cosmetic ingredient manufacturers or their authorized companies can submit ingredient safety-related information and receive submission code. Overseas companies can also log in the platform to apply for the code by themselves.
