The draft Regulation provides for lowering the limit values for certain chemicals (chromium (VI) and aluminum) in the composition of toys and materials used in toys, as well as for restricting of formaldehyde limit values in toys. The draft Resolution was elaborated according to Directive 2009/48/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 June 2009 on the safety of toys.
