EU REACH Risk assessment Member State EU Chemicals Regulation CoRAP 2026-2028 Community Rolling Action Plan (CoRAP)

On 24 March 2026, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) published the updated Community Rolling Action Plan (CoRAP) for the period 2026–2028. This outlines the substances to be evaluated by Member States under the REACH Regulation.

The updated CoRAP includes 28 substances planned for evaluation over the three-year period, with 10 substances scheduled for assessment in 2026. These evaluations aim to clarify potential risks to human health and the environment and to determine whether further regulatory action is required.

Evaluation Focus

Substances are selected for inclusion based on risk-based criteria, taking into account hazard properties, such as persistence, bioaccumulation and toxicity (PBT), endocrine disruption, and carcinogenic, mutagenic or reproductive toxicity (CMR), as well as exposure considerations, including uses and registered volumes.

Evaluation Process

Member State competent authorities will carry out the evaluations, assessing whether additional information is needed from registrants to address any concerns that have been identified. Substances are only included where further data is expected to help clarify these concerns.

The full list of substances, including the evaluating Member States and justification for selection, is available here.
