In January 2023 the Canadian government published new requirements to its Hazardous Products Regulations to align with the seventh revised edition of the UN GHS 7. Canada also recently updated its Bill S5, a bill that aims to strengthen the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 (CEPA). This bill aims to Strengthens the existing regulation for the management of chemical substances.
