China is the world’s largest fertilizer manufacturer and consumer. Every fertilizer produced or used in China must meet certain regulations and standards, as regulated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA) and the Secretariat of Fertilizer Registration Review Committee.

For registration of fertilizers, there are two types of registrations depending on product types. The two types are registration and record-filing.
